Yikes, my wife repaired Our Truck! Ladies, is it time for you to take charge?

A couple of weeks ago, my wife told me she had an appointment for the Truck the next day. Times have changed. A few years ago, she would have left that to me. Not so much because I know more about vehicles, but rather so she didn't like to deal with the financial stress.

My main question was, how long would they have it? You never know when you'll need a truck. " 2 days." was the answer. I could not help myself and asked what was wrong with it. "Loud and losing power." After the repair, I asked again and got: "something about 2 cylinders & $750 - who cares". She had a good point. Who cares. (back story - we know and trust our mechanic).

In the end, I was very grateful she had the time and took care of the problem. "Thanks, GP"
