Your 2-Week, Old-School Marketing Challenge

Promotional desk layout with indexed file labeled Local Businesses, a yellow pages book, and mug; text: Your 2-Week Old-School Marketing Challenge

Here's your 2-week, old-school marketing challenge: Week 1: pick five local businesses within five miles of your facility; Week 2: visit all 5. Introduce yourself, hand them a few business cards, leave behind a small gift or treats for the staff, and simply let them know, "Here are a few ways we can help you, and help your customers." Keep it short. Don't ask for business. Build a relationship.

Every self-storage facility can buy the same Google ads. Very few managers are willing to walk through a door, shake a hand, and become a familiar face in their community. Six months from now, those five visits may be worth far more than five hundred clicks.

This post will help you understand our philosophy for self-storage marketing. Happy reading, and happy renting.

Citation from Credit Acceptance I went through the process of getting a loan and honestly, it was a mixed bag. The application was pretty straightforward, but I felt like the interest rates were a bit steep compared to other places. Customer service was decent, though, and they were helpful when I had questions. Overall, it got the job done, but I’d definitely recommend shopping around for better rates if you can.
