There is big news for the Kissimmee community! Local Storage Authority owners Jerome and Geraldine are officially bringing a brand-new, state-of-the-art self-storage facility to S Poinciana Boulevard in Kissimmee, FL.
We took a walk around the construction site today with Jerome to give you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how Building 1 is coming along.
What’s Happening On-Site Right Now
If you’ve driven down S Poinciana Blvd lately, you’ve likely seen the transformation taking shape. Here are the key construction highlights from today's site tour:
Building 1 Exterior Framing & Siding: The main structure along the left side facing S Poinciana Blvd is standing tall, with sleek metal siding panels currently being installed around the exterior.
Roofing Installation: The roofing crew is hard at work atop Building 1, securing the structure so it's fully weather-tight and built to stand up to Florida weather.
Weatherproofing & Insulation: Specialized vapor barriers (GCP Perm-A-Barrier) and insulation are being applied around entryways and cutouts to guarantee top-tier protection against moisture and heat.
Main Entrance Prep: The team is laying out the framework for primary customer access bays to make drive-up loading and unloading as seamless as possible.
