Convenience means you are in a location which best suits the customer. in addition to location, convenience may also include operating hours or ease of use to do business. Choose your location wisely. Manager on site or a kiosk and/or website to complete rentals/payments.


Cleanliness is vital to the impression you provide the customer. Being clean casts the impression you are organized, professional and care for the experience of the customer. Have a regular plan that ensures cleanliness of the office, aisles, restroom and of course, the units. Don't let your dumpster be an eyesore. You can include a dumpster bay/unit in your next build-out to store it in an enclosed area or fence in your existing one.


Security provides that "safe" feeling. Security doesn't always stop or solve a crime, but without it, you create the fear within the customer that they or their items may be vulnerable. Video cameras/monitors, gated entry and disc locks are pretty much standard.
