Literally black Friday is a scam. Black Friday scam websites are up today and after Cyber Monday they will come down and even though tons of money is collected not a single product will be shipped. One clue they are fake sites is they are offering $280 sneakers for $79. Too good to be true is a sign and if you never heard of the company that is another bad sign. If a link to purchase is provided on social marketing you are better off going to the company's website directly from your computer. Often you will see the site does not exist.
On the bigger picture, Black Friday is a scam in my opinion. It is a buying holiday made up by corporate America to put money in their pockets and keep America poor. Instead of dreaming, stressing out, and waiting for Black Friday, we should always all have $1,000 cash in our pocket, and our shopping is always done. When we need something we buy it and don't think twice.
I started like most with a JOB - Just above broke. So I understand there is a progression to go from a job to going out to a restaurant and reading the menu from left to right instead of right to left.
You pay the bills working 9-5 and become wealthy after 5. Some of you are already saying family is more important than money. Great - but why not have both?
And if you are worried about not spending enough time with your kids make sure you take them on the Journey with you. We need more leaders and entrepreneurs!
I always say happiness takes these three things:
Someone to love
Something to do
Something to look forward to.
Having a residual income that comes in month after month for the rest of your life is an added bonus to these three things. And brings each of them to a new level of enjoyment and ease.
Back to my point, Black Friday is a scam. If we worked as hard as we did on our Black Friday shopping and the crazy other things we waste our time we could build wealth where you skipped the lines and bought everything you needed long before Black Friday.
