1)Always text after you leave a voice or email message. Our franchisees have told us over and over the real estate agents do not get back to them. Half the people's voicemail is full and the other half never check their voicemails. It is amazing how often you will get a text response in 5 minutes.
2) Send out a bi-monthly newsletter on your land search and self storage journey. Start an email list today. Add 1 name with an email everyday day. Include friends, vendors, town staff, real estate agents, land owners, and any who may help you find land or even rent from your facility one day. This is a great way to boost your word-of-mouth land search campaign.
3) We just had a Franchise owner find a property owned by the City. When you call the planner to ask which zones permit self storage also ask who you should call to get more information on land for sale by the city.
